Spring rolls – freezing and storage

Freezing and storage:

Place spring rolls in a single layer on a sheet pan. If you have wax paper, line the pan with it as it will prevent it from sticking less. Make room in the freezer to place the sheet pan inside (leveled so they won’t slide around), for 2+ hours. This prevents them from freezing together in clumps.

Take out of freezer, and place in zip lock freezer bags, in a single layer.

  • If frying, do not let them thaw out beforehand. Just drop them into the hot oil as they are frozen. Thawing them will cause more splattering.
  • If baking, brush frozen spring rolls with oil, bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, flipping them over half way through the baking time.
