We have a Hibachi restaurant behind our apartment complex. It’s a fairly windy day, and I get wifts of delicious Hibachi scents drifting through my window. It’s really torture if you’re hungry.
Oh. now I see the subscribe by email. I would also suggest putting an option to subscribe through a reader, like Google reader or Yahoo. You can go to http://www.feedburner.com (unless you already have) to set up a widget. This is what the widget looks like on a WordPress blog http://savorysweetlife.com.
Now, I am subscribed to your blog from Google reader. I tested my own blog’s subscription by signing up through Google reader. Sometimes it takes a little time to kick in with new posts (or maybe it’s just me.) But it’s not instantaneous. I had my husband subscribe by e-mail. So far, the last two posts haven’t showed up in his Inbox yet. So, maybe there’s a processing time?
I’m figuring out this Feedburner and Google reader stuff, too. I just installed mine Saturday. I can press “refresh” in my reader and newer posts pop up.
I think you have one too many widgets for subscriptions on the right. You may have to delete a widget box.

I had the wrong icon next to the Subscribe button. Now it’s the orange button.

hahahaha! Yea I’m still working on it. Thanks for all the help. Hopefully by tomorrow it’ll all look nice and pretty (and not repetitive!).
