We have a Hibachi restaurant behind our apartment complex. It’s a fairly windy day, and I get wifts of delicious Hibachi scents drifting through my window. It’s really torture if you’re hungry.

  1. Oh. now I see the subscribe by email. I would also suggest putting an option to subscribe through a reader, like Google reader or Yahoo. You can go to http://www.feedburner.com (unless you already have) to set up a widget. This is what the widget looks like on a WordPress blog http://savorysweetlife.com.

  2. I had the wrong icon next to the Subscribe button. Now it’s the orange button.

  3. Now, I am subscribed to your blog from Google reader. I tested my own blog’s subscription by signing up through Google reader. Sometimes it takes a little time to kick in with new posts (or maybe it’s just me.) But it’s not instantaneous. I had my husband subscribe by e-mail. So far, the last two posts haven’t showed up in his Inbox yet. So, maybe there’s a processing time?

  4. I’m figuring out this Feedburner and Google reader stuff, too. I just installed mine Saturday. I can press “refresh” in my reader and newer posts pop up.

I think you have one too many widgets for subscriptions on the right. You may have to delete a widget box.

  5. hahahaha! Yea I’m still working on it. Thanks for all the help. Hopefully by tomorrow it’ll all look nice and pretty (and not repetitive!).
