Absolutely delicious! I cooked a couple time for breakfast. My husband was surprised at how meaty and satisfying these were. It can be use as replacement meal as meat. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

I was recently at a big celebration dinner at The Broadmoor Hotel which is a swanky place here in Colorado. As the first course was served I of course pulled out my camera… I always take photos of beautiful food… right beside me another woman was doing the same thing….. We instantly bonded….. which our husbands just looked at the two of us and rolled their eyes. My hubby knows NOT to touch his food until I’ve taken my pictures….. This looks lovely and I would have taken photos too!

This sounds good! I’ve made these burgers with the same marinade but topped with a mixture of blue cheese and mayo, grilled tomato, grilled red onion then fresh arugula. Yum!

This burger was so yummy! Since I don’t eat dairy products, I substituted the mayo for a vegan one and the cheese for a vegan mozzarella flavored cheese. My husband loved it!!! Thanks!

Hi Donna! I haven’t made a way to print out a recipe on a separate page yet :( For now I guess just copy and paste onto a text program (like wordpad or notepad or microsoft word etc.)

I love your blog! You have such amazing pictures. I just bought some portobellos the other day at the store. Thanks for the recipe and the reminder to cut off the stems. I prob would have forgotten. And like you, I have to resort to using a Foreman (but I love it). I live in the city and can’t BBQ :(

Lando – Thanks for the comment. Portobellos are great in the fact that they don’t taste like you’re eating a giant vegetable!

HoneyB – Aughh! I always have to convince ppl that I don’t do this all day. It takes me an hour to post, maybe 2 if there’s alot of photos. What was I going to do at home anyway, maybe watch TV?
Plus, you’re exactly right, we eat everyday. Why not write about it if we enjoy it.
I do, however, use alot of the stuff I cook for my stock photos, to sell them. So it’s my job anyway! You can’t beat that… (multi-tasking). :)

I have to say you sound a bit like I do when someone actually tries to tell me that I do nothing but cook and take photographs…and blog! I don’t understand why people have to make it seem like you do nothing else! I do a lot of things. My response is quite similar. We eat everyday. I don’t post every single meal we eat! :-)
