thank you, thank you… after much time i finally came to your web site and found the solution to my dilemma. you are the only one who said to cut off the bulb. i had spent hours wondering whether i use the bulb or the green stalk or both. ok. now i can start cooking.

Kika – I think they JUST started showing up in farmers markets everywhere, including Florida. It’s the new trend, I guess. This is the first time I’ve seen them in the supermarkets too.

I had never seen garlic scapes before… I bet they don’t even exist in Florida. Funny that you published a pesto recipe today. I published a soup that calls for pesto! =) Have a great weekend!
