What’s wrong with this picture????
I can explain, I really can. After writing ‘Fragile’ on like 5,793 boxes, I’m bound to spell at least one wrong, with ‘Fralgle’.
With my luck, the movers will drop that box.
This is our kitchen. I wish I took a picture of what it looked like (clean) instead of this haphazard disaster.
I also wish it looked like I was helping out more rather than taking pictures of my husband packing.
Of course, these photos were taken a few days ago, so all these boxes have been packed.
Isn’t it nice I’m taking you on a tour of our place NOW, when it looks like total crap?
Excuse the mop on Chris’s head, he hasn’t had time to get a haircut yet.
But the mop could come in useful soon…

Ahhh, the sea of boxes! Just wait until the movers drop your stuff off and you start unpacking. It always seems like we have WAY more than I thought once it all comes out of the boxes!! LOL Surely I can’t be the only one?
Seeing these pictures is slightly giving me the itch to move again. We have about a year and a half left before we do and I’ll probably punch myself in the face for EVER thinking that.
Just seeing those boxes is making me convulse. Moving is always so traumatic for me. Yuck. I hope everything works out and nothing gets lost!!!
I am living vicariously through you… SO EXCITED for you! I’ve always wanted to move away somewhere, but I never have. (not even for college. sigh.)
Good luck and have fun!!!!!
April – Especially moving into a smaller apartment, I’m afraid of how everything will fit when we try to unpack later. Do you know where you and your husband will move to next???
Irish Pirate – Me too. Like the cats, I too don’t like change. I don’t like coming home to an utter mess. It’s like…should I shove the pile of crap in this corner, or just leave it scattered about? Either way…it’s been looking like a big pile of poo poo for weeks :P
Katherine – I moved away for college! Two whole hours away :P Then I came back. But I always wanted to move away from my hometown before I turned 30, and whaddaya know, we move like a month before my birthday. :) Way to procrastinate… but thanks for the luck! I’m fascinated anyone would want to live vicariously through me :P
FRA-JEEEEEE-LAY! Must be Italian! (please tell me you know this movie or I just sound stupider than usual. he he he).
Oh man…Don’t like that you guys are moving. We just reconnected! I see a roadtrip in my future…
I can’t tell you the trips to Goodwill we’ve made since moving here, even two years later! I’m determined not to have as much crap next time we move. I have no clue where we’ll move next, could be CA for all I know! LOL I love the New England area SO much though I really hope we can stay in this area. Time will tell!
Just remember when you start unpacking it’s going to look like a LOT more than it really is with empty boxes and paper around. Oh, and I highly suggest several box cutters because I was constantly losing mine! Have I mentioned how excited I am for you two!?!
