Chey – Chris is the one who got the job, which is why we’re relocating. We aren’t moving without any unemployment, that would be sorta crazy in this economy!! And we’re not living off our savings either. And as for my work…when I get there I’ll see what I can do. It would be nice to find something, but if I don’t, we’ll be fine either way. :)

Gee, I’m glad I didn’t ask – but I DID wonder! Not implying that you’re a bum, but it’s a pretty bold move without provision of a livelihood. So, since you don’t have a job lined up, I will assume that you guys are really, really smart and therefore assured of employment wherever you go, or you are really well off and can live off savings until you find work. Either way, brava! Enjoy the adventure!!!

These were a combination of different conversations I’ve had throughout the months. But I swear, in my mind, they’ve all mashed into one giant conversation, and reading it now makes me chuckle. The job thing has been irking me lately, since I haven’t even moved yet and ppl keep asking what my plans are. I feel like such a bum already :P

Is this a conversation you had with a family member? Although my Web-savvy mother has a blog in Korean, this exasperating conversation reminds me of discussions I’ve had with my father.
