Just 30 years ago today
a girl named Candy came this way
We are so glad she’s joined our fold
a mere 3 decades is not old
She has accomplished lots so far
so much ahead she’ll be a star
To those who love her we can bet
That this will be her best year yet!

My In-Laws e-mailed me a rhyming birthday poem this morning, and I decided to share it. It was very clever and made me smile. Thanks Al and Jerri, for humoring an old woman today on her birthday!
