		<description>Where are the people kayaking in the streets?  Take some crazy weather photos! I wanna see what some inclement weather looks like.  Though keep the camera dry. That&#039;s the great thing about the waterproof housings they make.. tho not really practical on SLRs i suppose.</description>

		<description>Welcome to SD.  Don&#039;t worry...this is a crazy amount of rain for us.  This is a natural almost desert and would normally be uninhabitable for many people if not for imported water.  Rain does raise oil slicks on roads (the oil builds up for months and then gets released) and rocks and dirt tend to slip and slide...but mostly it&#039;s wonderful here.  Cold weather to me means I have to shut my back door.  I&#039;ve been reading your blog for almost a year and truly enjoy it.  Gwen</description>
