About Me
I haven’t been able to put up a picture of myself since the last 2 Facebook picture incidents where I got the following comments:
“That’s a nice picture, except that ugly looking thing in the center of it (me).”
“That’s not what you really look like at all.”
Since I am a photographer, I’m not going to post an unflattering photo of myself up here just to appease you. So whatever. I’ll photoshop the heck out of my photo too. Take it or leave it.
Aside from all that, I realized my About Me page was way too long. So I’m making it shorter now. Don’t worry, I’m not writing it in the 3rd person. I haven’t reached that level of glorified pretentiousness yet.
My name is Candy, and I’m a graphic artist/photographer. After I realized I was able to feed another human being (my husband, Chris), and that human being actually enjoyed being fed, I decided I’d start a blog about cooking and photography. I’m not a chef, I’m not a writer, I don’t claim to be an expert on anything. I’d just like to share our food adventures with all of you, accompanied by gazillions of photographs documenting every inch of the cooking process. That’s all. I wish there were a theme, but there isn’t. Sometimes we can’t put ourselves in a box like that.
